- Brass copper material is more conductive than other materials. If your battery is lithium batteries, you must choose a brass terminal. It is better to keep the same metal for the cell plates and the terminals. But if your battery is lead-acid batteries, I would recommend you chose a lead terminal, because lead is more corrosion resistant to sulfuric acid.

Great design in a solid product. I used these on a lithium battery on our bass boat to convert from just a bolt on top to posts. I have my trolling motor wires with flat lug connectors under the posts and my fishfinder wires connected to the posts with clamps. Still havw the top screw down connectors available if needed. These are solid, heavy duty. Note the thread suze when purchasing. Mine fit in an M8 hole.

Great concept looking at the item but it may not work for your application. For me the post were too weak. I purchased an XSpower battery and wanted to use these post so I could add my accessories to the bolt at the top. However, the M6 portion that you screw in was very weak. I was tightening it down with a hand tool and never got any resistance to stop it just kept spinning and just broke off. That was my experience with it. It has potential but I feel like the metal they used for the M6 portion is too weak. I almost ruined my battery post also but I was able to screw the part out that broke inside it with my finger. If you want to try it due to the price like I did just be careful with it. I guess you do get what you pay for these days.

I bought a AGM battery online for 200$, the ones in the store were 550$. When I received the battery I realized that it had no terminal for the positive and negative. Just bolts. So I was about to go to the store when I ran across these! They work awesome and seem to be of good quality.

a beautiful piece of work and craftsmanship but if you don’t read what’s the man’s trying to tell you it won’t fit unless you have that size of a hole they won’t fit BE aware of what you have before you order. Mine don’t fit anything that I have but they are so dang pretty I put them and my brass drawer for future use, that’s how nice they are. I would say are worth the money and they screw in, how easy, righty tidy lefty Lucy.

These work for what one pays for.
They are a bit undersized for the regular US standard lead top post, but nothing that using proper shims doesn’t take care of.
However, they do fit brass marine terminals nicely. As those are a bit snug for lead top posts.
The supposed “gaskets”, are really washers made permanent to the bolts that go into the top of these posts.
The allen socket head cap bolts that was supposed to come with this kit, didn’t.
Instead, received just regular Hex cap bolts. Disappointed, but not hurting over it.

These are very well made and are an excellent choice for internally threaded batteries. I had looked far and wide for replacement 8D AGM batteries for my motor home. The best deal I could find on them had internal threads and I needed top post. These work great. I’ve seen negative reviews where people had over torqued them and broken the stud off in the battery. Just be careful and use some common sense, they are brass and won’t take the torque that steel will. A good snugging is all that is required. Great product, just what I needed.

Battery fit on my old Kawasaki mule is tight, cramped, and arms length reach. . Tedious at best to land 3 wires on positive and 2 on negative post with the bolt and nut style. This raises it up and gives me much easier access for a secure attachment.
