I installed these in conjunction with a big battery cable upgrade and they’ve been performing flawlessly for a year and five months now. They hold firm, don’t slip, conduct well, and handle the large ring terminals of my upgraded cables without issue.

Worked great on our optima battery. Fit good and heavy duty.

I need to replace the old on my 1998 Dodge Ram due to intermittent no start .
After installing it it started right up and my concern is fix.
The built quality is excellent and tighten both thermals as much as I could and it didn’t break I was impressed.
I would buy again if needed .
Highly recommended.

Seems like vehicle manufactures are fascinated with hanging a bunch of wires off of the battery terminals, these days. They design some unique assembly that sometimes, corrodes away in a few years, because the batteries made these days, do not last. Then you get sticker shock when you go to buy the OEM replacement part. It could easily be $300 (or more) for each terminal/cable assembly. The change out, is not a quick job either. With a decent terminal crimper, various size terminal lugs, sometimes a bit of new wire, and marine grade heat shrink tubing, you can usually make a reliable repair using military grade battery post clamps. The advantage is, they are heavy duty. The cable connection bolt allows you stack a number of different size wires on each end, once you have installed the correct size terminal lug on each wire/cable. If your OEM terminal assembly includes an inline fuse or two, you will need to get clever about installing them. If you cables are too short, then butt splices, and extra, wire/cable is needed. Use heavy duty, marine grade, heat shrink tubing, to insulate and color code as needed. Most, or all, of the parts are available on Amazon. Do not skimp on the terminal crimp tool, buy a good one. Solder is usually not needed, or desirable. I stuff and coat everything with silicone dielectric grease, before I crimp, or assemble. The grease prevents corrosion, and silicone grease does not melt out at engine compartment temperatures. OR, you can skip all this, and take your car to the dealership. Depending on the model, and If you are lucky, you may get it fixed for less than $1000. Ask what it will cost, before they start working on your car.

Used them to replace the corroded terminals on my house generator. Works well, heavy duty.
Crimped new terminals on the old wire, put on some heat shrink and good to go. Will probably buy another set for the dual battery installation on the travel trailer.
