The claws don’t grasp well, so it can slip off the arm you are pulling, and the screw is difficult to apply torque to because the unit uses a super thin and short arm that digs into your hands. The arm bends, then, and gets jammed. I recommend replacing the little pin crank thing with a hex head that I can attach to a socket or a wrench. 12mm ought to do it (that way, a 1/2 inch might also work).

This arrived quickly and had good packaging. I purchased this to help me remove the windshield washer arms on my jeep. I had to replace the motor which had failed and that required me to pull off the wiper arms. This worked out perfectly and I will keep it in my toolbox for future needs of battery terminals and other applications.

I read all reviews prior to buying anything on Amazon, I found that of the negative only 3 to5% are caused by real defect on the products. I do not believe that vendors want to cheat purchasers, especially on Amazon. The rest of the negative reviews either come from someone who cannot find how to use the product or come from competitors ..but those I learnt to spot right away.

I ordered and promptly returned this item. It is very cheaply made and started to bend with any Force applied to it. It is meant to apply Force to remove items but it’s impossible with the thin metal. Buy something better than this.
