Seriously?! I spent over and hour to install my set up it was annoying to deal with it but got it to look decent. I broght two one for solar and one to isolate engine battery. The one for the engine didnt break because I didnt test it yet. But the one for the solar broke on the 3rd attempt to switch. This is extremely sad it didnt even feel that heavy dury either. I already crimp all my wires and wired my systems up to these two devices. Like hell im going to leave these wires dangling while HOT just to return this epic garbage. I even choose the more expensive options I was worried if I got the 6$ or 10$ ones it would break. Im requesting a refund but I will be very piss if I have to drive all the way back to my rv just to remove this trash to return it. Will see what they will say.
I think the included wires seems good but now im worried bout using it.

Like others have said, the switch on top is plastic and breaks when turning to activate switch. Others have posted pictures of the poor switch mechanism. This one was the same. Trash.

Works well!

Came with all the wires needed. You might need to get creative when mounting.. I mounted this to the battery box that holds the battery. I had to make a thick block washer so the screws wouldn’t interfere with the battery.

I don’t typically write reviews but I’m finding that my ability to be successful with new products that I purchase depends more and more on both the reviews and the videos on how to install I can find on YouTube. Because of that I’m going to drop a couple things here.
First this is a basic product that gets the job done. I purchased for my bumper pull camper that has two exterior batteries. Most of the time it sits on the side of my house and is hooked up via the RV plug connection to the house. Because of that, I didn’t want any lights left on or if my kids got into the trailer and started pushing buttons or whatever I didn’t want any of that to drain my batteries so they are fully charged when we go camping. Now we camp at least every other month we try to go every month. I’m also trying to extend the life of my batteries. So I keep the battery switch at red which is disconnected on this new device and when I go camping I turn it to green.
As a disclaimer you should definitely check your batteries before you go camping because if you’ve kept them disconnected there’s nothing that’s recharging them and over time any battery not used will deplete. Something like to keep a trickle charger on there. My recommendation is throw a charger on your batteries the day before you go camping, that way you’re only charging them once instead of charging them every time there’s even a residual depletion.
The only other thing I wanted to post on here is when you install this it does matter which posts you connect on the interior of the switch. The YouTube video I watched didn’t specify which cable to connect to which terminal post inside the switch so I did it backwards the first time tested it and it didn’t work whether I turned it to on or off. I switched the two on the inside and it worked perfectly.
I am not an electrician and I do not like doing electrical work so this was a stretch project for me.
The only other tip I wanted to add is the leads are short! That means you don’t have a lot of options where to mount the switch unless you purchase your own separate cables that are longer than 12 in. I chose to mount mine to the back of my battery box, mostly to keep it protected from the elements.
I hope this helps somebody.

I picked this cutoff switch up to manually disconnect my battery (group 24, 12v regular lead-acid car battery). I was hoping it would be good for ~250 amps but it seems to be a lot lighter duty. I am using it now as a disconnect for my accessories power block … so a real world ~50 amps or so (800 watts or thereabouts, total).
Not the best quality but not the worst either. It’ll do. If you want fancy solid billet copper and what not… maybe look up the price range a bit.
Mounting and connecting the wires was no problem. This can be installed by anyone who knows how to cut and crimp wires 🙂
