After buying the more basic model, and loving the fact that it brought back a set of batteries that had sat dry and discharged, I bought this LCD model for a second cart. Well worth the price! Consider the cost of the charger cheap peace of mind knowing your batteries will last longer without constant supervision; aka less trips to the shed during the winter. Also invest in a battery watering system and make your life easier!

I bought two of these; a 36 and a 48v. The 36v is fine. I’d give it five stars. The 48v however came with a broken AC connector on the case. I called Battery Saver’s Customer Service number twice to see if I could just get a replacement connector. Got a voice mail, Neither message was responded to. Makes me wonder just how good their warranty is. Ended up returning the 48v unit to Amazon for a full refund. The one star rating is more for the company that doesn’t seem to care about its customers than it is for the product.

I am very pleased with the performance of this product. I apparently got a bargain. I paid less than $100 for my unit. If this is a universal price increase it is disconcerting. 35%+ in one swoop!

I waited too long to hook this ups. When I took it out of package one end chord will not stay in case. My batteries were low when I tried this, but window show zero volts and zero amps even when meter shows I have partial charge. Left on batteries and they drained with charger/maintainer is draining it. Would not recommend.

Pot on my 48v golf cart. Took over a week to reach full charge, but that was perfect as my batteries(I feared) were shot. This charger brought then back. Now it charges (reaches maintain) pretty quickly.
