Defective and in my case in order to return it to the specific ups drop-off, a 45 mile round trip, or pay a fee to return it to my local ups drop-off amazon continues to find ways for me to do less business with them

I have been looking for something like this for awhile and was pleasantly surprised to find this here. I have 2 12 volt 150ah batteries that are linked together parallel to each other to produce a 12 volt 300 ah battery pack. This will allow me to charge/discharge at a balanced level between batteries to gain as much power as I can from the system. Was very easy to install, took less than 15 minutes and works great. It also has a nice screen showing total voltage between each battery and can work with several different battery chemistries. The real test will be time however if you don’t see any update that means everything is working as intended.

I bought 6 of these from a different supplier and two from iSunergy.
4 of the others burnt up. I ended taking them all apart since there is no way to tell if they’re cooked.
You can look at my other review for pictures of those.
The iSunergy ones seem to be a newer version. The tan bits are film capacitors. The iSunergy ones shown are much larger than the ones that burnt up, but I have no idea if they’re better.
These don’t seem to have a safe failure mode. They just cook off.
    Definitely not gambling on these.

I obtained the iSunergy Battery Equalizer for a solar project which ended up on hold for the winter.
Before giving up on the project I did do a short test of the equalizer with a pair of lithium and lead batteries.
After about a day with each set of the batteries the voltages did seem to balance fairly closely and I feel confident that once my system is back up and running this will do it’s job well.
Construction is fairly good and display visibility is clear. I do wish the rail receiver was a bit thicker and more rugged though. I had to use a hunk of foam to jam into the receiver to keep the device from sliding. Also the screw terminals are a bit delicate, take care not to over tighten.

Fonctionne bien .

Guess it works so good I forgot I even had 2 plugged in,they actually work great and have continuously for years now.

I use it to monitor my 2 batteries in parallel. I can see what the total % state of charge is on both of them combined. It is handy if I want them in series instead. Other than that not much to look at. Just shows the voltage on each battery is the same.

Used them for a few months now. They work great. My only complaint would be the light doesn’t stay on. 8 Batteries stay within specifications 4 items

Hooked it up per instructions for two parallel 12V batteries. Reading from the lit up screen showed battery 1 was 100%, battery 2 was 52%, and during charging I didn’t see any drop in battery 1, only battery 2 was gaining gradually until it’s fully charged. Then, when it’s discharging, only B 2 was dropping and there’s no change in B1 (stayed on 100%, and no balancing was happening!) The voltage stayed the same on both though. Then if you cycled through B3, B4, it’d show 11% B3, 15% B4, or whatever! But there were only 2 batteries attached!? Would someone clue me in?
I like the simple set up, compact device and clear cut read-out. I do worry about it burning out one day since there isn’t any fuses or safety system.

Simple, easy to connect, but the instructions, and the set up is complicated.
