This item does not communicate correctly from what I can tell. It also was allowing constant 14.8 volts charging which in my opinion will shorten the life of your battery. It should sit closer to 14 volts when running.
So, either it’s a compatibility issue or a bad design. I wouldn’t trust it so back it went. In short, no, I cannot reccomend it.
