Nice cables for the price. Exactly two feet from ring tip to ring tip. I had to remove the terminals on one end, and I measured the wire diameter at about 4mm / .15″ / 5/32nds, so it really is 8 AWG. Lugs are 1.33mm / 0.05″ thick. Insulation is tough to cut. Would buy again.

These were not 2 feet long but still worked fine for me. I had not opened them until I started my project at the lake so I had to go with it. I used the red/positive cable to hook to the new cut off switch in the boat. The electrical wiring in this hatch was a rats nest of wires all intertwined. It took me hours to untangle and organize the wires. I was laying on my stomach with my arms down in the hatch with the temperature in the mid 90’s… It was hard work but I am happy with the result. Best news is the boat started after all that rewiring!

Excellent – excellent 8 AWG cables. Marketing says, “PVC,” insulation – feels more like a silicon wrap to me. It’s ultra flexible. Since it appears YDDECW only sells wire I assume they know what they’re selling. Whatever the insulation is – doesn’t matter – these cables are top of the food chain. I put a 50 amp Anderson on the receiving ends of my set, so I can verify that these do spec to an 8 AWG super fine stranded cable.

The YDDECW Battery Cables are a nice set of cables. They are 8AWG which is decently thick. I’m using them on my solar setup. One thing to note is that the lugs are 5/16″, so if you are trying to use them to connect together some of the larger batteries (like you would use for solar energy storage), they probably won’t fit as those terminals are larger. At 2 feet these were perfect for my needs in wiring together solar controller load output to a small bus bar for lighting. The wire is of decent quality and should do the job and the connection of the ring terminals seems to be well done. I highly recommend these cables!
