What a deal this little guy is! This thing is absolutely packed with features for such an affordable charger/maintainer. I’m not going to list all of it’s abilities since they are well covered on the Amazon page above, but I’ll will hit the main points. It has 8 modes to include Lithium, which is awesome, and it covers 6V and 12V batteries up to 40Ah. It is a smart charger so first it automatically senses which type of battery you have and sets itself accordingly. Then it goes through 4 stages of charging to make sure your battery is properly charged and taken care of. It has a pulse repair mode for old, sulfated, and damaged batteries. Then there is my favorite feature which is Force mode. When a battery drops below 8V most chargers will reject it and say it isn’t chargeable. With the Force mode this one will force charge the battery to above 8V then it will switch over and charge it like normal. Which can save you from thinking you need to replace a perfectly good battery. Other than all of it’s functions it is also well made and super light. It has a well written and understandable user manual that explains everything. The only small negative is that because it plugs directly into the receptacle it is kinda short. Especially in comparison to chargers that have several feet of cable to plug in. That however can easily be overcome with an extension cord and is not at all enough of a reason to not get it. Overall this little guy is a great trickle charger/maintainer. I’ve used it several times so far on both a lithium and 2 regular lead acid batteries. I have been super happy with it, and do highly recommend it.

Last summer I purchased one of the popular ‘name brand’ battery charger/maintainers for my golf cart, to use during the winter season. Three or four months later, it just stopped working for whatever reason. There went my money down the drain..
This battery charger/maintainer blows my older, much more expensive one, way out of the water! It comes with both types of attachments, depending on your needs/preferences. It is incredibly simple to use, & the directions explains each function very clearly. It’s pretty much a ‘plug & play’. Best of all, it even has a “force start” function that I personally have only ever seen on other $100+ products.
It is worth pointing out that the clamps provided with this, are on the smaller side. I personally don’t mind, but it could be an issue for some if they’re not able to fit on their batterie’s terminals. On the plus side, the clamps are small enough that they don’t prevent me from putting my hood or seat back down, depending on what battery I’m using it on. I’d also like to mention that the spring in each clamp is strong, & has yet to pop off one of the terminals.
The value of this charger/maintainer far outweighs the price, making it worth every single penny & then some. Five stars!

This is a great charger if you have a battery pulled out and sitting on a bench near an outlet. The format is ideal for that situation. If you are trying to charge a battery in a car that has sat idle too long, this is a bit of a challenge to use without a long extension cord and even then its not ideal because the controls are on the plug. I tested it with a battery that had gotten weak and it brought back up to working, it was just cumbersome to set up and have rest in a stable safe place while it charged.

I needed a trickle charger to top off small lithium batteries. If the batteries sit for a while or only have little use, it is better to use a trickle charger than a big regular charger. This charger is rated up to a 40Ah battery. That is plenty big for me. My largest so far is 20Ah, but it is nice to know I can go bigger. This is the biggest trickle charger I own. My other ones are from the two biggest name brands, a BT brand 750mAh and an S brand 1.5Ah. This one is the lightest and has the thinnest wires. Only time will tell.
I use the included clamps, but it comes with installable ring terminals. These are great if you are going to be using it on the same battery over and over. The description says the terminals are 0.3″. They are not, luckily. I measured them and they are 0.325″. This means they will fit onto a standard 5/16″ terminal bolt.
Instructions in real English? Yes! They are not horribly translated instructions. They are easy to understand so you don’t have to read them 10 times to figure out what they are talking about. Thank you, thank you.
