First of all, I should know better than to buy bottom dollar parts, but they were for a 165k mile car so I didn’t want to spend much. Initial impression was fine, although the did sit almost an inch higher than the factory ones (maybe 4cly vs V6 weight difference?) First big issue came when hit large bumps or dips that would compress the front suspension hard- these things creak and moan like rusty pogo stick. Next issue is there seems to be no bumper at the full extend position- when going over a speed bump and the shocks returns to full extension fast they make a horrible thunk sound! Unfortunately I put these on a car I was fixing up for my daughter and by the time she started driving it we had already gone past the return window. That didn’t stop me from taking them off the car though, the old factory struts are 10x better than these.

This is 3 time I have ordered an item from auto shack one item was perfect no defects fit like it should second order a part for my truck they did not drill out the holes for the bolts I had to go buy a kit to do it did not receive a response from seller then I ordered these shocks part is made very well but the holes for the sway bar link was not big enough had to spent $23 on a bit big enough to drill it out .

At one point my 2011 Kia Sorento alignment had gone bad and no matter how much work I put into re-aligning, tire wear kept indicating a toe-out condition. I couldn’t identify any bent suspension/steering parts or damaged bushings anywhere. I ended up ordering these struts because they were inexpensive with quick delivery. After putting them on (a pretty simple job, except for dealing with frozen stabilizer link bolts), I realigned my wheels again. After that, tire wear became normal. An unexpected benefit was that the ride became plusher, I guess I hadn’t noticed how it had become more “industrial” over time with the old struts. Note that I couldn’t visually see any bend in the old struts, but one of them must have been very slightly tweaked to cause my inability to set a good alignment on the wheels before replacing them. I only have 4 months on these new ones so maybe it’s too soon to tell, but they sure fixed my issue and improved my ride quality while doing it, so for now, these were a good buy.

Got one a few days before the other one arrived. No big deal. Fit great and holding up better than expected

They are universal for either side so driver or passenger side fitment for either. Exactly as described.
