This seems to be Exactly like ARE Covers uses on their camper top edges. After cleaning all old adhesive off I wiped withbrake clean. Lightly sanded edge, wiped again then appliedone continuous molding all the way around. 3M tape holds great!

I used a heat gun to make a turn with this molding. It worked fine for a few days but it wants to straighten out and lift off the surface. I had to remove it and throw it away. Instead of a vinyl material, I went with rubber. That worked well.
