I like this product (Extendable Handle Window Cleaner Tool), but the seller makes false claims about it. Why lie? Product description states: “NO CHEMICALS & CLEAN WITH WATER — Includes 2 Removable Washable Microfiber Covers. . . . The covers remove more dirt, dust and tar; cleans using plain tap water.” There is no way in hell that you can clean the inside of a van windshield with this tool, the two microfiber covers (which are cheaply made), and TAP WATER. First, I scrub the windshield with Mr. Magic Eraser w/ Dawn to “degrease” the windshield (to cut the oil and grease residue that collects on the windshield). Second, I dry the windshield with high quality microfiber towels. I do this by wrapping high-quality microfiber towels around the “Window Cleaner Tool” and wiping the windshield dry. Third, I clean the windshield with “Invisible Glass,” a window, windshield and mirror cleaner. Fourth, I clean the “Invisible Glass” off the windshield by using the “Window Cleaner Tool” with good quality microfiber towels wrapped around it. I’M GIVING THIS PRODUCT A LOW RATING BECAUSE THE SELLER MAKES FALSE CLAIMS ABOUT IT. YOU ARE MISLEADING YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! If the false claims (lies) were not there, I would give this product a 5.

I used these as soon and I got them in the mail! I just used water on the red one and then used the blue one dry to dry the window. If the window gets too dry the blue one tends to pop off bc of the friction. I did have to clean the passenger side of the front windshield again bc I must not have done it as well as my side. But after that the window looks crystal clear. I honestly haven’t cleaned my front inside windshield since I bought my car around 2 years ago bc it’s a pain to do but this product makes it a lot easier and you don’t need chemical cleaners! After, I just washed them with soap in the sink and hung them to dry.

Great item. Small and easy to store and use. Having a small vehicle, I can practically store this item anywhere without any haste or clutter. The cloths are easy to remove and works great. Does leave slight streaks, but that is much better than having a window that cannot be seen through due to the morning dew.

I originally gave this a one star because I only got one of the blue cloths. Customer service contacted me, apologized, and asked if I wanted a partial refund or a new one. I opted for a new one and a couple of days later, they sent me one. The product itself is pretty awesome. I have a fairly large SUV and I can reach the windshield (from the driver’s side) all the way to the corner of the passenger side. I’ve washed both the red and blue cloths by hand and air dried them and they held up very well. I have not machined washed or dried them though (pet peeve of mine). The handle is very well made and has a slight give to it. This allows it to move with the windshield (no windshield is completely flat – so this is great). I have a fairly large glove box, so when folded, it fits easily inside. 5/5 stars for sure. I would highly recommend this product due it their excellent customer service and due to the product exceeding my expectation. Thank you. I will surly buy this again.

The overall quality is above average to excellent, but, it had a defect… The replacement cover was too small, the elastic hem improperly sewn and missing the elastic in about 1/3 of the hem. UPDATE: I was sent the replacement and it fits perfectly.
The original one is quite nice. The cover has a terrycloth texture that grabs the dirt but is not padded, although as advertised, it can be reversed for a clean surface.
The plastic head plate is not very flexible and may not work properly on extremely curved windshields. On a Jeep Grand Cherokee it works fine. A little extra pressure should make it conform to the lesser radius of smaller windshields However it would appear that it may be a bit of an effort to make it contour to a smaller arc.
Overall construction is very good with a nice heavy hinge at the head. The head and all parts except the handle shaft are strong plastic. The aluminum handle is a plus and the extending lock works very well and locks properly. The foam padded handle offers good grip with wet hands or gloves an is a plus
I have increased the rating because the defective second cover was replaced to my complete satisfaction.

I like the product overall, only concern I have is that the included microfiber attachments are so hard to put onto the platform. Once they are on there, they work great, makes it quick and easy to clean my windows.

This device was worth the price – it’s easy to use and works as hoped. As someone with a shoulder injury, this is a very helpful device – I don’t have to reach to get into the corners.
