They do what they were made to do; turn electronics on and off. I use these in my truck for my front off-road lights and the lights up on my truck topper. Small and convenient, easy to install and the LED lights aren’t overpowering in the cab at night.
The picture shows the initial switch installed for my off-road lights. The 2nd switch now sits right next to this one. They don’t take up much room and they’re not very deep so a lot of room isn’t needed behind them for the wiring.

I’ve bought and used switches just like this in the past. These are a bit different in that the “On” position is the opposite side of where the LED is. With all my previous versions, I’d push the side of the switch the LED is on to send power to whatever it was controlling. These are the opposite. They work just fine, just seems odd to have the LED on the bottom instead of the top when it’s in the on position. The pictures in the description are accurate so it’s not false advertising. I just didn’t notice it.
With all that said, these are nice switches. Not ridiculously bright but you can easily see them.

indicator light does work as described. turns on when ON position and does turn off when on OFF position. for those that assume that there isn’t a resistor for led yes it has one. since some of these switches do work for higher voltages you might want to check desciption first so that you don’t burn out led. also at higher voltages led might be a bit brighter so you might need to add a resistor on the negative side so that light isn’t too bright on the dash.

I bought these a couple years ago and they worked out reasonably well for all my projects. Note: I always put a 560 ohm resistor on the ground terminal, since I don’t believe they actually have resistors hardwired.
When I ran out from the first bag, I bought them again. However, the new batch was different than the first one. My first batch was all built with the LED on the ‘on’ side of the switch, which made sense because the LED is on when the switch is on. The new batch was built in a way that feels upside-down to me: The LED is on the ‘off’ side, but still turns on when the switch is on (see photo).
I’m not sure if this was a conscious design change or a per-batch sort of thing, but I’m not a fan of the batch that I just got and probably won’t use them for anything important. I definitely won’t use them along side my old switches, because it would just be confusing.

Useful single pole single throw switch that lets you know when it’s on. Like the round hole design for simplified instillation that looks nice. Will most likely use for 12 volt applications.

Works great thanks.

The switch(s) operate as described in conjunction with a 12 v digital display voltmeter we installed in our T@B travel trailer. The switches were packaged in a small shoe box size cardboard box with plenty of large bubble wrap packaging such that no damage occurred in shipping. The volt meter, ordered at the same time but shipped separately, was in a flat envelope lined with thin bubble wrap. The three prong electrical connectors easily punctured the lining and the envelope and were bent over 90 degrees during shipping. Gratefully, Amazon credited our account as we/they were not sure the prongs could be straightened without damage. Fortunately the prongs did not break as they were straightened and the installation was completed without any other issues. The meter and switch operate properly and look great.

I only needed one swift but for the price you get three !
installed onto daughters ride on and hooked up to some cheap car DRL’s (spliced into the 12v battery) and as i didn’t want it to be always on just because the battery was connected, this suited the bill perfectly to let my girls have real working lights for their car that they can turn off and on.
Drilled the hole right because the ‘gear shift’ on the dash and it looks every bit like the car was built with it. Extra nice touch is the little blue led that glows when powered on.
Can’t wait to find something to use the other two on 😉
ps. for a quick reference,
Earth (negative from power source) is the golden prong
Power in (positive from power source) is middle prong
Power out/on (for whatever you’re switching) is the furtherest away from gold prong
