Great replacement, I have seen the comparable few months back and they were upwards of $200 and I said I would buy it if it fails.
Well I have been soaking it occasionally with wd40 to get by.
I found this nearly identical part for $86 . Took about 30 min .. the only thing I noticed was when installing the top bolt the head will not fit a mechanic style socket. You will need a thin wall style socket and the size 16mm
It fit perfectly. I test drove it and worked great.
No longer a safety issue !
After removing the old one it was dumb move on my part to let that go as long as i did.

The original steering linkage has a 13 millimeter bolt on one side and a 10 millimeter Bolt on the other. This one has a 13 millimeter Bolt on one side and a 5/8 on the other. The reason why this matters is the steering shaft has a half moon shape designs to hold the bolt in place. You must remove bolts completely in order to pull the old steering shaft out and you must remove them out of the new one in order to install it on the one side the half moon is too small be aware you may have to drill it larger for the larger Bolt. This could be a huge problem if you’re not aware of it.

I ordered this part to save a lot of money over the OEM Ford part. It arrived quickly and installed without a problem. After installation, my steering wheel was no longer straight, off a couple of degrees going straight down the road. The worst part was the slop in the steering, over an inch of play in the steering wheel. Unacceptable and the slop was coming from the lower end connection. I tried tightening the lower bolt and it helped some, so I try a bit more tightening. Nope, I sheered the bolt off. The problem is the machining of the lower bolt slot doesn’t allow the bolt to occupy enough of the key way and therefore just creates slop in there that no amount of tightening can cure. So if you order this part, keep in mind that it’s hit or miss. If that bottom connection were tight and fit as it should, I’m sure I would’ve been happy although the quality is obviously inferior to OEM. YMMV but I just ordered the Ford OEM part and will have to go to Ford to get a new bolt!

Easy install and is working great. Everything is nice and tight. Don’t know if it will last, but so far, so good.
8/5/2018 thought I would give an update. For the price I am still very happy with this part. I do have a little play in the steering now. At first it was a little annoying, but now I am used to it. For the price I’ll live with the play.

Exact fit for my 07 F150. Reused old bolts (this doesn’t come with new ones) which was perfectly fine. Give the ends a tap with a hammer and prybar to spread them a bit. This helps to make the ends on. Smooth steering through whole range during test drive.
