Easy to install. You can even use the old gas door assembly to make a cleaner install is you remove the pin from the old hinge. Took maybe 5 mins. Direct fit on 2018 tundra

What happened to the color?
Bought it not too long ago. I really like it in beginning but as time passes color faded now it’s no longer black it has changed to greenish golden type. No very good paint job.

I really loved this gas cap as it went with my theme on my truck. After 1 month it turned gold. Went I bought it it was black in color now doesn’t go with my color theme

Car Wash was responsible for ‘blowing’ off the OEM cover. This was an upgrade because it is lockable. Or buy used OEM on the ‘bay’ for more $$ plus shipping. No brainer! Took 25 min. to remove and replace. No instructions but it’s EZ to figure it out.

This product looks great, however, it was a bit difficult to install. The main issue is that it looked great for a day and then I washed my truck and all the paint came off after one wash. Now it’s different colors and looks really bad, so I’ve reinstalled the original fuel door.
