Chris C –
Cable is not what’s in the picture. It has plastic spacers and the rubber bushing that slides inside bracket fits loose. It is very cheap feeling. I returned it and bought an oem one.

You get what you pay for… it looks and feels cheap, and you will likely need to use some of the connection bits from your old cable to make it work. The inner cable has no coating so don’t expect smooth operation and longevity.

works ok but does not have the bend going thru the firewall as my 1992 legacy so its a little stiff dont drve the car much but we will see if it lasts or not will update if it breaks

This is a full-on piece of crap. Pedal end does not fit into bracket. After 3 times in and out, filing the retaining boss down each time, I threw it away and reinstalled the original one. Don’t waste your time and money.

The original cable had gotten extremely stiff to the point that my left foot would be in pain after even just a 10 min drive due to how much force it took to push the pedal down. (To be expected since the car has 402k miles). The new cable is made of high quality materials and was relatively straightforward to install. Now the clutch pedal is smooth as butter and I have no problem with 1hr+ drives.

The cable was the correct length, but the fitting for under the pedal wouldnt seat properly

Picture shows all the various bit being metal, most of those pieces were plastic on the cable I received. Also less than a year down the road it snapped right at the fork adjustment. Luckily I kept the old cable that I only replaced because I thought it might break as a back up and here we are.
I may drive a little aggressive, but even at that I expected more than a year.
