Bought TE7 & TE8 speed sensors as well as TE6 shift solenoid… installed everything on a 2002 Neon and they all worked fine for about 3 months until check engine light came on while on highway far from home. As soon as I got off highway the transmission went into limp mode and I was able to drive it a little ways to a Chrysler dealership. They replaced one of the speed sensors and I was on my way but a few hundred dollars poorer! I must say that the ATP TE6 transmission shift solenoid pack was a welcome upgrade and it is going strong.. likely the speed sensor was just a lemon.. happens sometimes…

easy tto install and works great

chrysler A606/42LE uses this and another sensor as the ‘brain’ feedback to the computer, these can fail and/or slowly go bad without throwing any fault codes but can cause drivability issues. changed both input and output to eliminate the potential for one sensor still being bad/faulty.
4 stars for the fact that its not made here but rather India… Q/C seems to be good so far. packaged very well.

Way easy install. I thought that my 1999 chrysler town and country was junk yard bound. The transmission would feel as if it was falling out at a stop sign. Almoust as if someone ran into you upon a stop. I am not sure which one fixed it but I ordered both of these sensors, and the transmission solenoid pack. Around 150.00 total, and installed them both in around one hour. The solenoid pack takes the removal of the air filter assy, and three bolts. One for the wiring harness and two to hold the pack on. Just clean the surface, and install new. Very little sweat, or trans fluid loss. The two shift sensors are easier then that. screw out with a deep well socket, and screw back in .(mostly by hand) Be careful not to over tighten. Bam!!! The tranny shifts like new! And it has for the past 3 or four months.
