Seems to work okay. Definitely makes it easier to reach up into the depths of a front windshield. Seems fairly sturdy. My biggest complaint is that from the pics it looks like you get a total of five reusable pads, when in fact, you only receive a total of four pads. The pics and description are purposely misleading in my opinion, and therefore the lower rating from me.
***EDIT 04/28/2025*** – I wanted to report that the company reached out to me regarding my concerns about pad quantity, and even offered a partial refund for my purchase. While I shared my concerns about what the pics made me believe, it was pointed out that the number of total pads that were included is specified within the description. After seeing their desire to clear things up, I have changed my review ‘star rating’ to reflect that much appreciated effort.

I read another review for a glass cleaner where the reviewer mentioned this windshield cleaner tool. I thought “I need this” because I large SUV windshield and a wide dash (I’m not a tall person). This tool was just as explained, and the reviewer was absolutely right about how wonderful it is. I was able to reach all the corners and bottom of the glass near the dash. It’s easy to use and does a great job of the final wipe on the windshield. I cleaned the glass first (I used Invisible Glass cleaner – I hope it’s okay to mention the glass cleaner) and used a microfiber cloth to remove the glass cleaner. Then I followed up with the windshield cleaner tool, which also has microfiber covers. Since the inside glass on my windshield had pretty bad film on it, I cleaned it twice. Each time following up with the cleaner tool. It was like magic – the glass actually sparked. I know that sounds a little dramatic, but this was the first time ever that I felt like the windshield was really clean.

This sure helps reach those hard back windows spots in the far corners. Is it labor saving? About the same for me to have to hold the handle and clean with it as to just reaching my arm in there and scrubbing.

This is such a good invention, and a stellar execution of it!
I have always dreaded cleaning my interior windshield; I find it frustrating and physically taxing and just a really, really unpleasant experience. However, after a few years of putting it off despite an increasingly-evident layer of haze, I decided to see what tools might exist to make the job less awful. Lo and behold, I found this, and I have zero regrets in getting it!
Some reviews mention that the cloths can come flying off, and I think this has to do with the angle at which you apply pressure– I kept the cleaning head as flat (perpendicular to the handle) as possible, and did not experience this issue with any one (of the three!) included cloths.
The handle telescopes so it was easy to reach the entirety of my windshield with minimal reaching on my part (which is one of the reasons I’ve found the job so taxing previously.) It can be extended or retracted quickly, and locked in place with a turn of the locking knob.
I have no criticisms of this product at all, and would highly recommend getting it!

It was very difficult to insert the metal handle into the plastic cleaner tube. I was never able to fully insert the handle into the black top but it is so tight, it is stable. The microfiber works very well on the inside of the windshield. So far no wobbling from handle that is not fully engaged. If this bothers you, pick another product. There are lots of similar options.
UPDATE 2 days later: the vendor offered me a full refund. That’s great customer service. After 3 uses, the partially inserted cleaning top is stable, cleaning well, & is stuck so firmly I can’t dislodge it.

Works great reaching your windshield in hard to reach places. Comes complete less glass cleaner. The head covers can be removed and washed. The one thing is, if you scrub hard the covers do come off. So you have to scrub lightly. Works well and am pleased with product.

The Astro Windshield Cleaner is a handy tool that does a pretty good job overall. Its design makes it easy to clean those hard-to-reach spots on your windshield, which is a big plus. However, it could benefit from being slightly longer to make reaching the farthest edges even easier. Despite this, it’s a convenient solution for achieving a cleaner, streak-free windshield without too much hassle.

Bought this to help clean the front/rear interior car windshield, because we all now what a pain that is.
I am happy to report that this device works very well!
The pivoting action allowed me easy access to all areas of the windshield. The extension provided extra reach, enabling me to clean even the most difficult to reach spots. Additionally, the shape of the cleaning pad was ideal for getting into tight spaces and corners, ensuring that the entire windshield was spotless.
Overall, I am very impressed with the performance of this device. It was easy to use and made cleaning the windshield a breeze.

This is the perfect tool to clean the inside of your windshield and back windows of your car. I could never reach all areas and always ended up hurting myself in some way. So this tool definitely helps to reach those hard to reach areas. I like how this is shaped like a shield. It makes it much easier to get in all the corners and is very sturdy. The microfiber cloths fit perfectly, comes with extra cloths, and comes in other colors. I highly recommend this windshield cleaner tool
