I’ve been very happy with the Aslan wiper blades I bought from Amazon for both of my vehicles, which come with an extra pair of refills. After using those up I was glad to find these replacement refills and not have to pay for a complete new set of blades. Easy to install, just use the old rubber blade to measure and cut with a scissor, utility knife or wire cutter.

The refills are awesome and only a fraction of the cost of Wiper blades at an RV parts shop. It’s like going back to the old days when we were able to replace the necessary parts.

These are the best wipers ive ever owned. In Canada i get almost 2 good no streak years out of one pair and you get an extra. Naturally I ordered a set for my wifes car and its the same quality. I ordered these in 2020 and only now replacing them 2024. I dont give many 5 star reviews. These deserve it!

Put these on about a month or so ago on my 2018 Subaru crosstrek. They are super simple to put on, but they are very noisy. I’m unsure at this time how long they will last. If they weren’t so noisy, I would definitely be a returning customer. At this time, I am unsure if I will purchase again.

The pros are that it is much cheaper than buying a ready-to-install wiper refill. The wiper material is as good and works as good as any on the market imho. The cons are that it takes a little time and effort to thread them onto the old refill. Too hard to do on the vehicle, better to remove wiper and sit down at a table and take your time. Also you may need to trim the length. So, if you have nothing better to do (like me) it’s a great way to save 30 to 50 bucks!

OEM wiper blades are nearly always the best. They fit the car exactly, and clean the window the best. Usually, they also look the best as well. Most OEM wiper blades have some means for replacing just the rubber insert that does the actual cleaning. While some manufacturers sell these rubber inserts separately, others do not. Volvo, who made my car, does not sell just the inserts .
The ASLAM 6mm wiper blade inserts fit the Bosch-type wiper blades of my older Volvo perfectly, with enough material for four blades.
I waited to write this review until I had a few months of use, to see how they work over time.
Overall, they clean the window well. They do have a tendency to be a bit noisy and “chatter” especially when the wipers are first used, but quickly quiet down. The OEM Volvo blades are quieter but many times more expensive.
Typically, I replace wiper blades every 12-18 months, and these appear on track to hold up about that long. So, absolutely worthwhile!
Update: after 18 months, the ASLAM inserts are finally worn out and starting to split. They still clean fair but more than a little streaky. This was in constant use in Chicago weather and traffic with well over 25,000 miles. Realistically, I should have replaced them 6 months ago but was waiting to see how bad they would get.
In short, they hold up reasonably well but not quite as well as original Volvo wipers.
But as they came with enough material for two sets of wipers, I merely replaced them again!

I used this product in the past and purchased these to replace the old ones. This batch does not stay in the wiper arms. Maybe new manufacture?
