After much research, I decided on this starter. I have a 1952 Mercury Hot Rod with a 302 Ford engine backed with a Borg Warner T-10 four speed. My flywheel is a 164 tooth as well. The measurement from my bell housing to my flywheel is 3/4”, this long nosed starter worked perfectly for my application. I liked the extra wiring kit for the solenoid trigger (the length of the 12 gauge wire was probably 5’ or so, much more than I needed for my setup).
My car starts up very quickly (probably in 2 seconds from a cold start).
Great product!

Replaced another make of starter that was never right.Fitted well and performs well. Spins the engine over really well

Too hard for me to install.
Had to return it.

I installed this in my 1996 F-150 and it works well. The ignition is much more efficient in starting the engine with this added to the system!

1994 f150 351w 5 speed manual trans. Had to shim an 1/8″. Other than that looks good and starts good so far. Gave it a 3 star because it was advertised as for a manual transmission.

The part looked great and fit great. It has so much tq is starts with ease. I always thought I had weak charging system or weak battery but it was the starter. Old started also created a crazy voltage draw while running

Replaced the starter on my 1996 Bronco with this Powermaster due to the truck not wanting to start when hot. This starter works great and turns over fast. I did need to change the wiring a little, which was easy with the included instructions.

La pude adaptar a una f150 1991, ya que aunque tiene un diente más el bendix, si sirve para adaptarla, lo que si tuve que comprar 3 adaptadores de altura dorman para que diera el espacio y trabaje sin problemas.

Bought in march of 2024, only started vehicle 12 times & starter is shot no good. I’m thinking this was a used starter. Do not buy. Installed on 1989 ford 351W motor.

i like this starter the oem type was slow to start or woudnt start al all when it got hot next to the headers but this little guy starts every time i only needed to buy shims because it was making a strange noise when running id just wish they included the shims in the package
