This stuff is great! I looked in numerous stores locally and couldn’t find it but luckily I found it here at a great price for six bottles. I used to buy this at my local Rite Aid store in their small automotive department aisle but the store has now closed. This is by far the best car wash soap I’ve ever used. It makes tons and tons of suds and it removed all road tar and grime that had accumulated down by the wheels and rocker panel area, yet it is so gentle on the paint. So glad I found it here and at a great price for six bottles of it too. Certainly going to last me for a while….

Great car wash, amazing price.

Received 6 bottles as advertised and it’s a lot of product for the price.
The car wash is not the highest quality as it doesn’t soap up very well. You will end up using a lot of soap for one vehicle, it works but not great.

Soaps aren’t easy to review. A lot of credit goes to how you finish the job for an end result. I’ve been a intermediate detail/wash hobbyist for some time now and gave this a shot. I only received one bottle, but it was free for an honest review (I will not hold that against my review, as it was free).
-Soap did not produce a high sud/foam, but had a nice lubricated consistency. It held up okay, but I found I had to use a lot of product. So I wouldn’t plan on this lasting a while (maybe that is why they sell as a 6 pack).
-Did a nice job on my trucks first wash in months (first string of nice weather in months). It did a great job of removing pollen buildup and water stains built up over several month old Collinite 845 wax.
-Even in the sun it washed off well and didn’t leave a residue.
-Followed up with a lance foam conditioner and silicone spray wax and they played nice together. All in all, great job for a quick wash and spray wax.
OVERALL: I wasn’t blown away but I was impressed with the product. I usually don’t go with the “household name” car wash products, besides Meguire’s, but would use this again. What impressed me most was it’s lack of streaking/spotting. I did remove one star bc I felt I needed to use a lot of product to get a good wash.
Grits –
I’ve used other kinds of cleaners including the well known “green” cleaner, but I always wondered if they were designed to take things off the finish of the vehicles that I wouldn’t want. Regardless, I decided to give this a try, and was highly pleased! I’ll admit that I accidentally poured too much in the bucket, so I had a dilution of about twice the concentration called for on the bottle. But based on the results, I suspect it will work quite well even a half the strength I used.
One of our vehicles has sat outside without being driven for months. Pine pollen season came and went, but the pollen collected on that vehicle and apparently baked on when the sun was hot. I’ve never seen anything light it before despite living in this area most of my life. I expected that to be the “acid test” for this product for review purposes (yes, it was free to me as long as I review it, but Amazon puts NO pressure of any kind on Amazon Vine reviewers – I’ve trashed some products with the worst 1-star review I could write, I’ve given glowing 5-star reviews, and everything else in between, without a single comment from Amazon despite having been a Vine reviewer for 12 years now.
I sprayed the vehicles, then applied the sudsy water to a section at a time (hood, roof, trunk area, sides, grill area, etc.). I did some basic rubbing as I applied it, but mainly just to loosen things and hopefully improve penetration into the dirt/pollen/etc. by the cleaner. Before the liquid and suds started to dry out in the section I’d applied it to, I then started to rub more vigorously with a terry cloth. I actually think I’ve worked a bit harder a time or two in the past, but the point is that I didn’t have to work all that hard compared to what I expected. I then rinsed that completed section of the vehicle, and move on to the next, making sure to do a good rinse after each one.
The car dried beautifully, despite being in need of a good wax or polish. Will I buy this out of my own pocket next time? No question.
The ONLY complaint (and not enough to reduce the overall rating at all) is the lack of any quantity markings on the side. How much is two ounces for two gallons? Who carrys around a measuring cup when they’re washing a car or truck? C’mon, Armor All – plenty of companies put embedded quantity scales on the sides of their products, and your container is nearly transparent, so give the customer a little break and let us know how much we just poured out so we don’t over-use it. Hopefully you still put the customer first, not increased sales.
A Family Effort –
I honestly don’t really get a specially formulated car wash soap. Yeah, there’s wax and clear-coat to think of, road grime, etc., but I’ve always found that plain ol’ kitchen dish soap works just fine. So why spend more or spend time to seek out something special for your car?
Well, these folks believe that they have the answer. And it’s okay. It pours from the bottle easily, and a little bit goes a long way. It pulled lots of winter grime off my car with ample suds, and rinsed just fine.
I have no complaints about this product, as it performed exactly as advertised.
Note that for this pack of six, you’re loading yourself up for weeks and weeks worth of cleaning, and that’s if you wash your car every weekend.
And approximately $36 for this 6-pack, you’re laying out about $6/bottle.
Bottom Line: it’s a car wash liquid soap that mixes well, lathers up, and washes the dirt right off.

I would rarely wash either my car or my wife’s car until I got this soap.
The product I had before the Armor All was something I picked up at one of the car accessory chain stores. I likely made a purchase based on price and picked a cheap one.
Having got tremendous value from this product, I now firmly believe there is a huge difference between bubbles and a performance cleaning agent.
Both of our cars not only looked cleaner, but also stayed cleaner for longer. At the time my wife and I were Uber drivers and having your cars looking their best was really important, and this soap helped deliver that for the exterior of our vehicles.
When adding the soap to the wash bucket, it doesn’t take much to cultivate a small snowstorm of bubbles to tackle the task, and once the job is done there are no smears and the cars look fabulous.
Overall between the value for how many washes you can get per bottle and the final results, I think this reflects tremendous value in this arena.
