Purchased this kit to repair massive cat scratches on my faux leather loveseat. Easy to apply and mix colors of compound. As you can see, scratches are covered up. Only negative is that texture dries pretty rough and not smooth like the faux leather.

It worked perfectly. The chocolate tube exactly matched my couch. I was able to repair a 1 inch hole, fill scrapes/scratches and recolor parts of the couch that started to look worn out. This worked far better than I could have imagined. Other people complained about the finish but i found it exactly matched my couch. I can’t even tell a difference in color between the original leather and the areas that I repaired with this product.
I am so glad I bought this product! It freshened the couch beyond what I ever imagined possible!

Unica pecca , per me importante : le istruzioni sono solo in inglese, alrimenti avrei dato 5 stelle .
Chiederò al fornitore le istruzioni in italiano .

Eigentlich war ich doch etwas skeptisch, was das Produkt an geht…
Aber, nachdem ich die Blessuren an den Ledersitzen bearbeitet habe, bin ich absolut begeistert.
Das Zeug ist einfach nur Klasse!
Man mischt sich den Farbton passend zurecht, trägt die Farbe vorsichtig auf, lässt es etwas antrocknen und wischt die überschüssige Farbe vorsichtig weg und poliert die Stellen leicht aus…. und man sieht von den Blessuren im Leder absolut nix mehr.
Das ganze hat vielleicht 10 Minuten gedauert und die Sitze sehen aus wie neu.
Von daher… fünf Sterne und klare Produktempfehlung*****

Was in the position that I was going to have to replace my lounge suite. This repair kit has actually worked took about six or seven layers where the worst tear was but it is now seamless. Highly recommend.

Our old leather couch had a crack that ripped causing a hole that was about 1.5 inch long. I used a bit of the backing fabric that came in the kit and mixed up some of the filler to match the color of our couch. It took a few applications to fill and repair it (could maybe even use more to fully fill it), but it worked. The hole is patched and it has held up to heavy use from kids and dogs for 2 months now. It also works to recolor places where the finish has started to crack and wear off the leather. This has refreshed our old worn out couch and it looks pretty good, I’m very impressed with the result. Th instructions were easy to follow and it’s easy to use, comes pre-mixed in several colors that can be combined to make just the right shade to match any color. It also comes with a lot of the product so there’s plenty left over to touch up again when needed. Good value to extend the life of leather furniture.

My leather couches have been through ten years and four kids. The first week we had them, one of my toddlers spilled a glass of orange juice on them. They’ve been through a lot. Now that my youngest are twelve, I’m ready to maybe have nicer things again. Maybe. In any case, these repair kits worked great on my you couches. Their color guide didn’t have the exact match for the color. It was between two, but the mixing guide nudged me in right the direction. I needed a mix of tan, chocolate, and walnut to find the right combo. I needed two kits to finish the job. One kit probably would be fine for a love seat, but the sofa alone needed just more than one.
A few tips:
1) For large areas, I found it easiest to spread with my fingers rather than the spatula provided. The brush still works best for seams.
2) Remember that the “paint” will dry darker. Test a small hidden area and find the right match. Then keep a wet sample for future matching if you need more than one mixing batch like I did.
3) Follow the after care instructions. This includes letting the paint completely dry, then wiping it down with alcohol, and finally sealing it with a waterproofing leather conditioner (not included). I think people who complain about color transfer to clothing maybe didn’t follow these final steps.
4) Consider buying two kits if your repair is large. Then you won’t need to stop mid-project while waiting for the second kit to arrive.
I’ll post an update if the repairs don’t hold up well. Right now they look great! Very happy. I love my “new” couches. The first two photos show the before damage, the other show after.
