THE BEST SERVICE AND SUPPORT THAT I HAVE EVER RECEIVED FROM AN ONLINE SELLER. Aranalifts and their technician Vigor were extremely attentive to my installation.
I ordered 45# lift struts on a guess that that was the poundage that I needed for my tonneau cover replacement strut. MY MISTAKE!! I installed the Aranalifts 45# struts and the 45# struts did hold up my cover once I lifted it up, which required excessive muscle to get it up to that point. It is summer and with summer heat, the struts work the best. When it gets cold, gas struts are not as efficient. I was afraid that they would not work as efficiently and would not hold the tonneau cover up in the winter. So, I opted to exchange the struts for a higher poundage.
I emailed Aranalifts with the request for an exchange. Each time I emailed them, their reply was instantaneous. Vigor, their technician, instructed me on how to measure the poundage of my tonneau cover at the point where the struts attach to the bed of my pick-up truck. The weight was 80#. I emailed that weight to Vigor and he promptly calculated that I needed 80# Aranalift struts. Usually the struts are rated at 80# each, for a total lifting weight of 160#. I decided to rely on Vigor’s expertise and he promptly sent me 80# struts, telling me that I didn’t need to return the 45# struts.
I installed the 80# struts and they worked perfectly. They help lift the cover once i began lifting and took over by lifting the cover to full opening. They retract just as easily once I apply closing pressure with minimal muscle needed. They work just as the new original struts worked.
Aranalifts and Vigor even followed up and emailed me to see if I had installed the 80# struts and inquired if I was satisfied with them.
I would give Aranalifts and Vigor a 10 star rating if I could and would recommend them to anyone needing a gas strut application. Thank you so much to Aranalifts and Vigor for a satisfying transaction.
I would definitely buy from them again.

Replaced my 150 lbs shocks on my motorhome bed with these heavy duty shocks. Works great, no more placing a broom handle

I have tried three other manufacturers of this sized strut and they all failed within six months. These only lasted three months before they quit holding my bed cover-up.
Just the thought of having to deal with a seller who would probably make up excuses why they should not honor the warranty gave me a headache. Well, the EXACT OPPOSITE happened. I received a response to my inquiry the same day I sent it and they just wanted to confirm my mailing address. One week later there was a brand new set of struts at my front door.
On top of all that, they even sent out an upgraded, more robust strut at no additional charge.
Customer Service like this is hard to find in today’s society and that is worth its weight in gold. Place your order with these guys, you will not be disappointed!
Cheers!

I used these on a tonneau cover and they did not disappoint. Install was easy and so far they have lasted for almost a year with no complaints.
I try –
Small or large pivot ball bearing in description would make correct pairings fast and help reduce the return due to mid matched size.

Do not REMOVE the retaining clips as instructed. SLIDE them up to install and back down to lock ends 🔚 in place.

Bought my F150 used and it had the Undercover topper on the bed. The manufacturer gas struts finally gave out and I’ve been using these for two months now and they’ve been just as good as the originals. Install was quick and painless. Will purchase again if these last a couple years too!
