Called OEM Signature Series to find out what strut was rated at abs gor long winded how wonderful their 11 pound strut was. They offered to replace it for $42 plus Shipping charges. Expected total cost for 1 strut to exceed $55. He said tgat theirs was special vs Amazon. Then why did it last barely over a year? On Amazon, choice is 10 or 15 pond. The 11 was too weak in my opinion, so I went with 15 pounds. It was the correct choice. I also replaced the floor and door attachments for yge RV as they also bent when the strut failed. All packages came with 2 items, so now I have a spare complete replacement should it happen again. Btw all 3 were less than the OEM single strut plus I have a spare set! Didn’t rate longevity, but it appears excellent after a week of use.

The perfect rv door strut @ 20lbs.

This item is a good replacement fit on my GW boat. Time and exposure in a saltwater environment may prove its durability. It’s difficult to find replacement parts for older boats, this product has stainless steel connectors on each end, they initially appear more durable than the plastic connectors on the original GW gas struts.

Got so sick of my engine hood on my boat falling on my head. These were a perfect replacement with the higher load rating to fix the issue. Also love the easy snap ring to hold them in position. Great value for the money.

The two 5 year old gas struts that I am replacing were rated for 20 lbs each. They are used to lift and hold an access door on the stern of my boat. I thought that they would last longer by increasin̈g the lift capacity to the 40 lbs. struts. I still believe that, just not with these. They do not offer any assistance at all. It’s like they aren’t even attached and they are supposed to be rated double as to what was originally installed. Don’t waste your time with this product. I am very disappointed.

I had trouble with these struts which I eventually figured out was because the weight rating of the struts is related with the weight of the lid AT THE MOUNT POINT of the strut. Not the actual weight of the lid, and not the weight you feel when you lift it from the end.
There are more detailed instructions to weigh the lid properly that are included with the struts but by the time you get them, its already too late.
I contacted support, and although they took a couple days between emails, they did end up refunding me the first set of struts, which I definitely appreciate.
I wish the information in the listing was more clear. Following that whole ordeal, the result ended up alright, so I’m updating my rating to four stars.

Replaced the shocks on my tanning bed. It fits perfectly on the existing mounting ball. I’m assuming it’s a 10mm. SUPER easy to install. My tanning bed is older and a residential style bed so 60lbs is plenty to keep the top open. To be honest I only replaced 1 of the worn out shocks because the other isn’t easily accessible without pulling it out and away from the wall. So the 1 single shock is doing great on its own. Very strong. Highly recommend for the price

The piston located on the bottom side of my travel trailer door had gone bad and the door would not stay open. Even the lightest breeze would cause the door to close. I removed the old piston and noted that there were various numbers printed on the side of it. I got on Amazon and started searching and found the piston with the same numbers as what I had, and in the same size as my old one. The new item arrived a day later, and it was super easy to install and now it firmly holds the door open. I got the 15 lbs holding power version and it is perfect for the door.

Ordered these rather than the original Suspa brand that were on my dad’s tonneau cover. They were slightly cheaper, and also shipped through Amazon Prime. Worked exactly like the originals. No issues with the clips or anything. They look and feel well made as well, I have no doubt they’ll last.
EDIT: Well, sadly I was wrong. The cold weather might have been too much for them. One died sometime in late October, the next one died in early December. Disappointing as I purchased them for my dad, and I had to hear from him that they didn’t last.

This was shipped fast at a good price. The arms are very strong, a little more than I expected. So be prepared to hook them up as per instructions.
