The main thing I’m having trouble getting used to is the ledge the phone sits on. You do need to snake your charging cord through it….which can get annoying, but it keeps it in place. The other thing is when I’m trying to swipe up on my iPhone to open the phone, that ledge the phone sits on gets in the way so you have to get a rhythm to swiping up on the exposes corner of your phone to get enough of a swipe. Otherwise, it sits secure in the CD holder. I’m keeping this holder anyway.

Great design and love how the side clamps click/lock at any size and are easy to release with one hand.
I purchased another double the price $20 CD player mount from Amazon and had to return it since the side clamps are designed so poorly you have to fumble with it every time to get your phone out. I like to leave a small gap on the sides of the clamps so I can quickly pull my phone out and this one is perfect to do that (or clamp all the way down if you want). The other $20 one I had to literally duct tape the release levers because it was such a hassle to open every time. This works flawlessly and is a great price.
Highly recommend this over the much more expensive options (and I paid for this myself and this just my honest review). Great product.

Excellent device for my situation. Holds my phone (Pixel 7) securely and keeps it conveniently located just below the top of my dash. I bought one for my wife’s car as well. Needs tightening from time to time, and it doesn’t work well with wallet cases.

What a deal! I was replacing a similar holder that I used with an iPhone 6s that used a magnet. I switched to a Motorola G Pure phone. It is larger and I wanted to have a regular holder for it. It was such a snap to put in, and it works great! It is easy to tighten or loosen the ball joint that controls the angle. Tighten it down a lot if you don’t intend to ever move it. Loosen up just a little bit if you want to be able to rotate it for horizontal view or lift it up a bit.
In my particular car, a Hyundai Accent hatchback, it only obscures a portion of the digital clock and audio screen. It’s easy to lift the bottom of the holder up if I want to be able to see all of that screen, mainly the clock, if I have something else playing on the system, and not using the Moto G for music.
The quick release button makes removing the phone easy.
Of course, time will tell how durable the holder is, but for now I am very pleased with this purchase.

Easy installation. It comes with replacement pads that go on the cd insertion piece. Fits nicely in a 2003 Tahoe and iphone se. Let’s see how long it will last before the phone holder gets lose…
