Just what I needed. I did not pay attention to how the original gas cap was attached and broke this little clip. Amazon saves the day. Delivered the next day.

I had to buy a new gas cap from the dealership. But it did not come with this attachment. It fit perfectly with the tether but because it is mad of plastic when you bend it, it does has the hairline crack. You can only do it once. If you were to open it again, it will probably break. But it works for what you need it to.

This worked well with my OEM replacement gas cap. Before going in I did flex the living hinge of the plastic to make sure it didn’t break and to my delight it stayed intact. Overall it seems way overpriced but at least I won’t lose a gas cap.
