Excellent product

Had my fan relay go back for my central Air unit at the house. Was getting a nasty buzz off of the old one. Got this next day after ordering. Took less than 5 minutes to swap out, and everything is working beautifully. Based on previous reviews, I’m going to order a spare just in case reliability is an issue.

This relay lasted 7 months and the contacts stuck together and my fan wouldn’t shut off! I ordered another one not realizing it was the same brand and it lasted 7 1/2 months. I went with a different brand this time. I hope it works better.
speaks the truth –
My central heater would continue to run way past the set point, past 80F when set point was 70 F. I had several techs to look at it to fix it, but with no avail. Then I purchased and installed this relay and it solved my problem. This relay has 18 amp capacity at 120 volt, while the previous relay max was only 12 amps. I think the old relay was sticking, and if the amps spiked above the 12 amps max design, the contacts would stick, and the heater continue to run. Often I had to go outside the house to the breaker panel to shut off the heater breaker to shut off the heater. Not fun when cold and rainy outside.

I used this fan relay to build a WiFi thermostat to control a small floor heater. I combined it with a 24v AC power supply and an Ecobee thermostat.
I needed to keep the well pump room above freezing. I also wanted to be able to control and monitor the room temperature. This setup allow me to turn the heater on and off, set the temperature and check the interior and exterior temperature. All across the internet.
