When using the duo to charge my work phone in the car, it will charge but not fast charging. I commute to work daily and plug it in to and from work. I have connected it for an hour each way, and I rarely find it charges my battery to full. That could be a protective feature of the phone or the phone isn’t designed for fast charging as it’s an iPhone 8, I believe.
When using the cord to connect to my laptop from my Mac, it’s VERY inconsistent whether it will charge or allow my device to sync or not. I am unsure if it’s Apple MFI certified.

They are reliable. However sometimes I feel the connection fails. –
One of the cable lasted for a year the other is still on. The charger itself is fast and reliable for different devices.

On a recent long drive, it provided enough power (through one of the two USB C connections) to simultaneously operate my Motorola Edge phone running GPS and charge it at one percent per minute.
This was only $2.99 each when I bought two of them.
My adult son bought a much more expensive version to provide more power for a game system. But this one provides more than enough power for ordinary use at a fraction of the cost.
I bought two, so one is in my car and one in my wife’s car. Both those cars provide only a tiny trickle charge through their data-mostly USB-C connectors (only enough to slow the discharge rate of using a phone as GPS), so using this device instead for more power to the phone makes a big difference.

After looking at the two courts that were delivered, I see one of them is for Apple phone and the other one is for android. I am pleased with my items and the fact that they sent two different type of cards considering that you may have two different type of phones was awesome
