Seller needs to allow buyers to use a P.O. Box address. Some people only have P.O. Box and no mail box at the street. Our usps carrier will not leave a package at the house with no mail box at the street. Strange but true!

OK, so I’m a lady, a first-time RV’er and I had a broken seal on my Cougar. Did not wanted to pay x amount for a dealer. Ordered this one and waited month to mount it, because I thought it’s difficult. All out there who are newbies ITS NOT. Its super simple.
How to replace:
1) you take the little screw out on the bottom of the seal. It’s there to secure that it does not slide down after a while. 2) you pull the old seal out 3) you put a little vaseline (don’t put to much, otherwise it could slide out when you put your SLIDES in or out)inside the U-Sharpe channel of the new seal. 3) You stick it into the place where the old was from the bottom and push it upwards. It gets a little harder towards the end. But its possible 4) Put the little screw back.

Installation was easy. The mounting groove and width of the seal matches the original. The original seal/sweep was slightly thicker than this product. I lubricated both sides of the new seal when installed. Hopefully the difference in thickness won’t affect durability or longevity too much.

I purchased this product because the product that I had purchased from Amazon last year was a wiper seal that was thicker and tapered and would not bend properly while opening and closing my slide out on my RV. Everybody told me I just needed to use a piece of rubber to flip the seal, but the seal was too stiff. So far this works great.
