The AOHI Wireless MagSafe Car Mount Charger is a solid option for hands-free charging on the go. The all-metal design feels really sturdy and well-made, and the 15W fast charging works great with my phone, keeping it powered up efficiently while driving.

This is a functioning wireless charger. I have an iPhone 15 Pro and this unit works perfectly to charge my phone. The phone sticks to the unit magnetically and it charges. I’ve been using it for over a month now and it still works. There is an adhesive backing that looks to be a one-time use if you want to mount it somewhere permanently. The unit does swivel rather nicely. I’ve opted to not mount mine to anything and I am able to move it around. It doubles as a nice phone holder while the phone is charging. Build quality is good, and I have no complaints. Would recommend.

First, I love how strong the magnet is. As long as as you have something like a magnetic ring, this thing will not drop your phone. The mounting was a little worrying at first when the sticky base didn’t immediately have a strong hold. Just give it a day to set and it will work fine. My dash has a slight curve to it but holds great. The wireless charging option is very convenient, I can just use the mount if I don’t want wires about, and it does work with fast charging.
You do have to be careful when you adjust the angles, the neck that connects to the phone to the charger is very stiff and you may detach the base if you are not careful.
The 360° swivel base is nice. I just wish it was a bit more stiff. If i turn a but too hard or sudden, the whole phone will move.
Other than that, I am pretty satisfied with the It and would recommend.

This seemed like such a good idea for both a mount and a charger for work. When it first arrived I had high hopes that It would fit the bill.
Unfortunately this is not the answer to my problems. The “silicone” mounting is horrible and doesn’t hold the weight of a modern phone and falls. The magnet is worthless and will not hold an iPhone 14 Pro Max.
For this to be useful it has to be flat which defeats the purpose.

I bought this not to use in my car but actually for a wherever magnetic mount for my Samsung Galaxy z fold six. Obviously you have to add a magsafe case or the ring itself. Which if you look on Reddit there’s people who have listed x-ray scans that show you the exact location center point and where to mount the ring if you’re doing it that way. I’m modified mine to fit a little small clamp I use so I can use it when I’m somewhere at work or even clamp to my bedside floating table and it has a ratchet like 360° rotation base which is pretty nifty. The arms that move it can literally be positioned so many different ways and the hinges are tight and it stays where you put it. And you absolutely do not have to worry about your phone falling off of this thing it is strong. I hooked it up to my fast charging power brick and my phone says fast wireless charging every time I stick it on there. This would be just as good in a car I would definitely be the charger I would recommend to anyone who’s got magsafe stuff whether it be iPhone or Android phones with magsafe added. To make mine even more convenient I did add one of the magnetic quick connect USB-C cables that’s for up to a hundred watt charging. The one I got was pretty expensive but it’s super convenient.
