Installed easily and the sound quality is great. Did have an issue with it a couple months later- was shutting off- but the company was super easy to work with and sent me a new unit right away. Very happy with their service.

Doesn’t actually have working GPS. No where to for a mic input, so you’re stuck with the tiny hole that no one can hear you through. Bluetooth worked, and screen held up but after 1 1/2 years I couldn’t do it anymore. I feel jipped, don’t be like me.

I purchased this to replace an older aftermarket system installed in my 2007 FJ. It was becoming a power drain on my electrical system, maybe due to old electronics or some other reason. Anyhow, I found this one and ordered it as it looked nice and compact and had a more modern look to it. Everything was progressing okay during the install until I could not locate a wire to hook up my subwoofer. I checked, rechecked, checked some more, went online and still could not find a wiring diagram that shows the wire that feeds power to the unit. Spoiler alert, there wasn’t one dedicated/labelled for it. After scanning the FJ forums, I was lucky to find a guy who installed a similar system and had much more electronics experience as he located a wire that wasn’t used in most FJs as it is for a power antenna. I was able to use his hack and wire in the power for the sub and continued with the install without any further issues. The trim fit perfectly with no other modifications needed.
I guess my beef is that a lot of early FJs have these sub woofers in them and this item was marketed exclusively for the FJs, it should have had a dedicated wire for the sub power.
In the end, after an extra two hours of fiddling around and looking for a way to power the sub woofer, it is installed and working as expected. Though it wasn’t my first time installing a complex stereo system, this one “looked” straight forward until it wasn’t. If there is a next time for me to do something like this, I think I will ask more questions regarding the wiring harnesses before just happily adding an item to my cart thinking I have done this type of install before. Lesson learned just happy it all worked out in the end.

Update 22 Jan – video not working. I trashed this unit.
Update 14 Jan – I installed this unit. It powered on. Instructions do not fully detail the wiring or harnesses. I tried to call the “product support number.” Its not in service.
Through trial and error it is working but not fully functional. The FM receiver is great and Zlink integrates my phone features. The wifi links up with no issue. The GPS antenna doesn’t pick up my location so I have to use maps on my phone.
I am going to take it to a shop and pay them to get the rest of the features going.
So yes, it’s somewhat plug and play.
NOTE – keep some spare fuses on hand. For some reason I blew two fuses but no harm done.
In hind sight – I would just take it to the car stereo shop and have them do it turn key.
