Absolutely perfect for my needs. On my Toyota I dont want to run Apple Carplay as I like the voice commands that the installed system provides for calling and texting using the “Hey Toyota” prompt. In addition, I like to run the installed navigation with phone based GPS backup. This device is exactly what I was looking for. It allows me easy access to the phone and apps, yet does not block any of the infotainment system, HVAC control buttons, or drink holders. The magnets provide a secure hold to the phone

This is actually a great phone mount. But when I first opened it, I was overwhelmed. But that’s because they thought of everything! There were so many parts because they thought of every possible scenario, I think. As it turned out, I didn’t need much of the stuff, and it was really easy. The one part that I didn’t like is that they want you to put a magnetic ring sticker on your case or phone. I have an expensive Casetify case and didn’t want to put a sticker on it. Plus, we sometimes use my husband’s phone in the car, and he didn’t want a magnet on his case, either. We both have iPhones with magnets on them, and, so far, the magnets on our phones seem to hold them just fine. (It’s a strong magnet.)
My car has GPS, and I really only need to use this if I want to use Apple Play or Waze and don’t want to have my phone in the cup holder, so this is perfect. I love how it doesn’t block the vents, too. Hoping the magnet keeps holding!

I’m always on the hunt for a travel phone mount that has a good clamp for multiple cars. I need one that works with various rental cars as I travel a bit. I have recently started using magsafe accessories and needed a new travel phone mount. This mount is nice because of the multiple options for placement. Many times, the air vent is not ideal for other phone mounts. This one allows you to extend away from the vent in 360degrees.
The ball on this mount is quite standard which is nice. I am able to swap it with my magsafe wireless charger which fits the same ball size.
Overall, I like this mount and am currently using it in my travel kit

I have owned every phone mount made for your car. This one I absolutely love. It doesn’t block heat or air coming out of the vents. It holds the phone securely so that it frees up other space in your car. And another huge plus about this item is the customer service is amazing. They are the best I have ever dealt with.

~Wish the part that comes in contact with the front of the vent had a rubberized pad or coating. After extended use and road vibrations, I’m nervous the mount will really scratch up the vent.
SUMMARY
Overall, this is the best vent-mount system I’ve ever used. Historically, I’ve always hated vent mounts because they jiggle loose too easily. This vent mount does not have this problem and is extremely secure due to its innovative mounting system. I highly recommend it!

I always wanted to try one of these magnet holders. I also wanted one that clamps onto my vent because I don’t like the suction marks left behind by the types that suction onto your dash or windshield. My phone’s case has a ring on the back with a small metallic circle that’s supposed to work with magnetic holder (guess what? It didn’t). This holder was easy to attach snugly to the vent with no issues. It’s supposed to work with the metal rings that come with it and that you’re supposed to place on the back of your phone. It has white plastic covering teh non-sticky side and I peeled it off (out of curiosity mostly) that I think it was keep the metal from corroding, as you can see in my picture that it’s becoming discolored. But my problem is that I stuck it to the back of my phone’s case, and while it conveniently is just wide enough to fit around the ring stand, it’s not exactly on a perfectly flat area. Also, it came with 3 of these metal rings and I used two to get it higher than the inside ring stand. At first, I had problem with the metal rings becoming unstuck from my case and staying on the magnet of the holder. But it was nothing a little superglue couldn’t fix! So, yeah, it’s on there good now. And it works great! Just hop in my car and hold my phone up to the magnet and it grabs it and off we go! It’s great! Recommended.

I absolutely LOVE this for my baby bronco! Not a lot of car phone holders are compatible due to the circle setting on the vents, but this fits perfectly above and below it. LOVE it! And the magnet is great! Not once has my phone fallen!
