I highly recommend these if you’ve got something like a power inverter on a 12V lead-acid battery that you occasionally disconnect and re-connect. The anti-sparking feature really works and saves on the nerves every time a connection is made. Just be sure the last connection you make is with one of the special connector ends, and the thin bottom ring touches the contact point first. I guess there’s some kind of resistor inside that allows the system to slowly equalize the voltage without passing much current thus preventing any spark from appearing. Pretty clever. The cables are high-quality and 4AWG is beefy enough to handle pretty much any application for the home user.

The quality and feel of these is better than expected. The connectors on the end allow for a solid connection to the battery and stay in place with this covers on the ends as well. The material is strong and works exactly as needed. Perfect upgrade for old corroded connections.
