The threads on my part were garbage. Looked like they were double threaded or something. Would not buy again.

Fit perfectly. Edge of threads are sharp. I also had to leave it out 3/4 of a turn to get the advanced auto filter to fit. However it bottomed out when snugging up the filter. I do not believe it was the adapters fault. 100% did what it is supposed to.

worked great. the oil cooler failed and replacing it was over $400 with a used part. I bought a remote filter kit and when I went to mount it discovered the block required an adapter for the hoses. I purchased this items and it worked great. since I only take short trips and don’t tow the additional cooling for the oil has never been an issue and pressure always runs in the nominal range.

Used to remove the 90 degree oil filter adapter on a 1999 Ford Explorer 5.0 engine. Fits perfect.

I used this (along with a FMS equivalent 90-degree mount) to delete the Longs oil cooler that came on my 97 F350 460 big block. Save yourself some headache and use high temp (red) thread lock on the end that threads directly into the engine block to keep it from backing out. On the other threads, I used anti-vibratory thread sealant that was semi-permanent (I recommend the Vibra-TITE VC-3).

note that this will take the oil filters for a 95 5.0 mustang and not the ones for a 90s 351.
