Excellent cleaner/conditioner for luxury leather handbags and shoes. I used this on my Tory burch, michale kors and Louis Vuitton bags and they look new again. It also helps protect so the purpose is twofold as it also restores.

An old pair of my patent leather shoes began to develop a very sticky surface, a sign that the leather was starting to deteriorate. The spray was easy to use, removed the sticky leather and restored the shine. Only question is how long before the leather begins to show signs of further deterioration.

OK….here we go. I was an original Properts user, then Mentonian user (same product) since 1988. I loved the original. I recently have been running low and decided to re-order. Found out that they had downsized the bottle and doubled the price. Strike one….
I ordered two bottles, thinking it would have to be the same….I did notice the Johnson and Johnson Company had purchased the product. I hoped that they did not screw with the formula. They did. Strike Two.
The product is not the same. It is thicker and has a very unusual odor. Keep in mind, I still have the original one in my possession. It dries tackier and is difficult to polish out. I have over $1,500 worth of footwear–some of it custom–and this product is not worthy. I used the original on all of them with no problems. This one dries darker and is just not worth the money. I was so disappointed. Also, to clean 4 pairs of shoes, I had to use about an 1/8th of a bottle. The original one is 10 years old, with the same amount of shoes and I still have 1/2 the bottle left. The natural creases in the shoe are lighter than the rest of the she, so the product does color it. Strike Three (more product used to cover same number of shoes).
I figured they would put some sort of wax product or polymer in and screw with the formula, shame on me. They ruined the best shoe care product on the market. Shame…..
BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA PLEASE.

Been using the product and….I have changed my review to 3 stars. While I still love the original, this formula does work and provides a nice shine that is not too over the top. It does protect against minor water/spills. I used a bunch of it on the shoes at first. That said, after some time, I only need to use it now and again. I am getting used to it.
