This trim wasn’t quite enough length for what I was intending to put on so I just put it around my headlights. I made sure the area was clean and free from any oil or grease. The adhesive on the tape is very strong. I have no doubt it is authentic 3M tape.
The trim itself looks good, it’s just not very noticeable from afar where I put it. In hindsight I wished I used in the interior. Oh well.
It’s good quality trim. I installed in the middle of summer. It has held up through extreme heat and also from multiple washings of the car with a pressure washer. (Edit: It is six months later in January and the trim is still holding strong.)
I think it’s a bit expensive ($40 when I got it) for the amount you get but other than that I got nothing to complain about.

Far too often the “chrome” trim available is not bright and shiny, but rather a muted silver. This looks like chrome, very bright, very glossy.
By the way, I use this stuff to trim out the stamped edge you see on Honda motorcycle gas tanks. For what it’s worth, Honda quite often makes tanks with very nice lines, then cheapens the process with a stamped edge at the bottom. This trim effectively hides that and dresses up the tank without drawing undue attention. Typically I use black or red, depending on the paint scheme, but this chrome trim will be going on a tank painted a pearl gray and black. I’m fairly sure the tiny bit of chrome will be a nice touch to the overall design.
FiSH –
It does work. It uses a strong 3M under side tape. It is great as long as you know how to use this. The back is flat. You can use this around a head light if you tape this to the front of the light. This will work around a rim. If you tape it to the rim.
NOT in the gap. This does not fill the gaps. It has to be taped to a flat surface. I thought is was a gap filler. This is not. Just make sure you know what you want it for. IT shows pictures above that you can not do with this product. The other ALL-FIT produces are better in my opinion. They do make great products.
I gave this a 3 star not because the product is bad. But, because the ad is misleading.

It looks really good, while it lasts. Mine was coming off within the first month though. It isn’t really cheap either, so I wanted it to last a long time. Im not sure if I did it incorrectly, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

This car trim is fantastic! I got these to put on my tires but after I had installed it on one I noticed that there was nowhere near enough trim for all four tires, I would have expected there to have been much more trim included for a $40 product. Besides that, the adhesive on the trim was very strong so much so that I was able to remove it from the tires and install it elsewhere and it still held up. I also love how vibrant the color of the trim is as it really makes the car design pop.
