No leaks. First budget unit that didn’t leak at the quick connect fittings. The unit works great. Using the available hardware and a 3/4 in fht x 3/4 in fip adapter or is leak free. Wish shipping was fast though.

A while back I was overjoyed to get to try out and review a spotless car wash system, since I’d been wanting one for years and years.
The only rub to that system is the need to refresh the resin so you can stay spotless, and I was worried it might be cost-prohibitive to keep that up.
Luckily, there’s high-quality resin replacements like this bulk pack to make the process quite affordable.
If you have a spotless wash system, you know that it’s generally used for “rinse only” mode, and if you’re the kind of person who wants and uses a spotless system, you probably want that quality of water for your entire wash process (deionized water “grabs” dirt much more easily and hangs onto it much better), so you might be like me, just blowing through your resin supply by using the spotless filter for the whole wash.
If you do that, you know that it makes the car wash that much easier, and speeds you through what could be a lot of towels and washing.
This product works as well as the original resin that came with the filter.
Super easy to use – just refill your canister as needed as you go along. Also stores well – protected from dust, etc. in your garage until you need it.
Overall, a really great find and nice to have some “backup” resin so I can go nuts with my spotless washing and rinsing!

I’ve used it twice and see good results, but the fitting leak significantly wasting a lot of water. I’m assuming this will cause the media to need replacing much sooner.

Make sure to use plenty of Teflon tape sealing up the fittings. After a thorough flush it was ready for use and it finished spot free. Excellent!

This unit is low cost and works well! I live in Vegas where TDS is around 370. Comes out 0 and washing cars come out spotless! Loving the price compared to the mainstream guys. Will be ordering DI resin from them as well! No leaks. They give you plenty of plumbers tape. Make sure you have the right fittings to connect to your hoses. I use it with a power washer, no issues with flow. Love the setup. Highly recommending to my friends and family. Took a risk on a no name brand. Glad I did.
Mine did not come with a strap like advertised though.

It came with resin preinstalled and caps on the bottle to keep it from drying out 👍. Hook up was pretty straight forward, except you have to purchase a female x female hose adapter or have a female x female hose for the inlet to the bottle. Not a big deal, but $10 I should have at least been warned about. The 2 quick disconnects will be handy for moving my hose to the non pure bib. Also the tds meter battery was dead, I have one already, so that was not a concern of mine. I do recommend a totalizer type flow meter to hook up on outlet, so you don’t loose track of how much water you’ve put through this. It does put out pure water, now I can wash my vehicle’s and not worry about water spots. Minus 1 star for the above noted issues, otherwise I’m very happy with purchase.

This DI system seems to be a great value. The bypass valve is very convenient and much quicker than disconnecting the hose, and the included TDS meter is a nice touch.
There was an issue with some shipping damage on my unit, and the seller responded immediately and made it right. Highly recommended.
