These pads seem nice so far and they fit perfectly no problems no squeaking no issues. I’ve already rode 1000 miles on them. 2015 Lexus IS250 F Sport Rear with Centric Premium Rotors.

my oem brake releases a ton of dust onto my wheels. i’ve researched and people recommended me this brand. a lot of brake power and no brake dust. it doesn’t not come with new brackets for the brake calipers. No brake noise and smooth.

So far so good, they seem to be of good quality, only thing I don’t like is the wear warning metal clips are too long so they will start making warning noises too soon unnecessarily, the ones from Toyota are shorter.

Long break in procedure but worth doing. Great pad feel when cold and low dust.

I have been using these ceramic Akebono brake pads (front and rear) on my 2015 Sienna after reading about their quality and minimal brake dust left on the wheels. This Akebono kits comes with all the metal clips/slides/low pad warning/etc/ that you would replace on the current caliper and carrier- just be sure to grease/lube them appropriately. If this is your first time, pull up a YouTube video or take pictures of the old brake pad setup so you’ll know where to place each metal piece. I don’t expect to have issues with them, as I have purchased these in the past.

Brakes squealed when first installed, figured it was just intermittent and would just happen here and there. Brakes got worst over time, tonight I heard a constant metal to metal scratching when braking in reverse. Ordered this back in October 2023, its now Feb 2024. Not sure if its the indicator prematurely going off but I’ve only driven 2k miles and the sound is really bad. The front’s have always been good from this brand but this is the first time I bought rears and I won’t buy them again. Wasted money on these since I’m outside the return window. Ordering OEM pads, fitment kit and shim kit as I’m writing this.

Good pads. No noise. Clips are too big for 2015 rx350. I had to use the old ones.

My car is a 2010 Lexus RX 350 (most people don’t identify the make and model of their cars in these reviews, which makes it 30% less helpful for other shoppers). These rear pads fit nicely (so do the front pads). I bought them in October 2021 and installed them in May 2022. They had been at work for about nine months now and I have put almost 8,000 miles on them. There was no problem so far. They make no noise and do a good job of stopping my car’s rear wheels. I believe they will last about 40,000 miles or more. I’ve provided a photo of a comparison between the Akebono vs. the old pads, they look good and work well.
The only complaint I have about them is the clips that come with the package were very difficult to install into the caliper. These clips are supposed to hold the pads in place so they don’t slip while braking. However, the clips were a little bit too big and not a perfect fit like the OEM ones. I gave up after a while and just used the old OEM clips from the old brake pads. That worked so I was happy. I would buy their pads again from Akebono.
