After researching and learning that cabin air filters are essentially all the same, I bought this one. It’s doing a nice job filtering the air in my Smartcar.
Jeremy –
Fit perfectly installed well

Ordered for a 2014 Smart Fortwo. It is as described, fits perfectly. Highly recommended product!

We often forget just how much the cabin air filters do in our vehicles… My original OEM one was rather dirty and this was a great replacement at a much better price. If anything this may be better than the original as the edges of this have a pad that will likely create a better air seal than the hard cardboard edges of my OEM filter.

Great product at a reasonable price

This came with reasonable instructions, but there are some youtube videos out there that are much clearer.
The one thing missing in the instructions was the direction the arrow should point. It says to make sure you install it with the arrows in the same direction as the one you replace – which would only work if the old one was installed correctly 😛 A couple of youtube videos that sounded like they knew what they were talking about said the arrows should be pointing to the rear of the car.
Getting the cover back on was a little fiddly, and it’s not easy working way up there in the foot well, but the whole process (including checking a youtube video for the direction) only took about 10 mins, and the only tool I used was a screwdriver to pull out the old filter.
The new filter was about half the weight of the old one – so I think it was long overdue for a change 😀

We put this cabin air filter by AirTechnik in our 2009 Smart Fortwo.
This filter looks just like the original, works just like the original, and fits just like the original. But it costs just a fraction of the original.

Great fit and now my car smells so much fresher. It was amazing how dirty the old one that we removed was!
