I needed a battery hold down mechanism to replace the rotted out one 50 plus year old car. This does the job I needed to do without a lot of fuss. Slightly bulky compared to the factory unit, but that is to be expected with a universal fitting type. Made in China.

Desafortunadamente no lo quedó a mi batería, las varillas quedaron muy largas y no alcanzan a ajustar, el material es bueno sin embargo no podré usarlo.

A pesar de que marca compatibilidad con mi auto, al final no es posible instalarlo de manera normal, tuve que hacer algunos ajustes mayores para poder fijarlo. El problema es que de manera longitudinal no ajusta al tamaño del acumulador y de manera transversal, el auto no tiene forma de fijarlo con la varialla desde uno de los lados. En segundo punto es un poco alto y estorba para que baje completamente la tapa.

This is a well made battery hold down that uses good materials and seems put together really well. It’s a universal fit type so it should fit most applications though some minor modifications may be necessary in my experience. I’m using it for a dual battery setup in a toolbox and it holds really well and I haven’t seen any shifting of the battery, even after rough driving. I’m satisfied with it and would recommend it.

This battery hold down will NOT support battery in the event of even a small accident. Metal hold down is easily bent by hand as it showed up bent upon delivery and I bent it back into shape with no tools needed, just one hand.
