This was the perfect replacement part for my car. It was easy to install and works!

Didn’t actually use this in a car. The “Certified LiftMaster tech” said that the opener had a motherboard problem and that I should replace the whole garage door opener at a cost of $1900. I pointed at the ballast resistor and asked, “Is that a Mopar ballast resistor wired to the start capacitor?
He said, “No, it’s an ummm….. LiftMaster exclusive part”
It’s been working for a few weeks now. I will edit if it fails

This resistor cured arcing breaker points on my K-301 engine. Would have been 5 stars had it been marked as 1.8 ohms as advertised. Correct amps is very important, some coils listed as correct for Kohler motors have too little resistance. This burns points within a year. You have to check everything.

AC Delco ballast resistor for points ignition. Although made in China it is the correct 1.8 ohm resistor for Chevy points ignition.
