This product out performs many others. My last set of ACDelco spark plug wires went 100K miles without any hesitation.

ACDelco is all I ever will use.

Most auto parts sites listed these as spec for my Saturn SL2. But the wires are way too short. But that’s not ACDelco’s fault

The problem is the spark plug ends. The plugs are WAY down in the engine, so they have extended hard rubber inserts. The OEM inserts have caps at the top that seal the space to the spark plug to keep it clean (and avoid ‘gunk and dirt from getting into the engine when you change plugs) These only had a flared out top that didn’t even reach the edge of the hole. So they wouldn’t really seal it anyway. Likely how it had to be since they are generic, but had the wires been long enough, I probably would not have used them because of the cap issue.

    Perfect fit great price.

    Exact fit 2001 sl1 saturn

These plug wires did not even last a year. The manufacturing quality is poor, let me explain. A good plug wire is designed to allow you to remove the wire from the plug by pulling on the boot and the boot is designed to do that without pulling the wire out of the metal clip that connects to the plug.

The boot on these wires does not do this, therefore if you have to remove a plug wire from a plug (such as to change plugs) there is a good chance it will pull the conductor and now you need a new wire (if you want your ignition system to run right).

Modern engines are very picky, especially when it comes to electrical and ignition stuff. Aftermarket parts are unpredictable at best. I know my old wires were “leaking” but was still amazed at how much better the engine ran with these new wires.

  7. Amazon Customer

The spark plug wires were good they fit my car but did seem a bit short the all fit tight another inch or so in length would be better But the do the job the car they are installed in is a 2001 Saturn SL1.

  8. WR

What is not to like, AC Delco quality, just like GM wanted for the car.
