This part is made in Taiwan. Despite this fact, the part fit well and was fairly easy to install. This part is sold under the AC Delco brand which I trust. It is half the price of an aftermarket regulator from the dealer. All in all, I’m very happy with the quality of this part

Install went well – although it is a bit of a challenge if you don’t watch a you tube video a few times prior to attempting. Outside of that, good quality replacement for the money!

Product is factory OEM replacement, with improved design on how the cable ends are attached. Installed easily and operates as new. Would definitely buy again.

Either this piece was not ACDelco or this company is riding off of what reputation it used to have. When it arrived it had almost zero markings on it including the bag (yes, a bag) it came in. When I opened the bag I was almost certain this was some junk company defrauding me and ACDelco because of how poorly it was packaged, the lack of any marking indicating it was ACDelco and the clearly poor level of quality. The markings that were present indicated it was made in Taiwan (not unexpected) and a few numbers. This might as well have been from one of the cheaper manufacturers listed in Amazon. I paid the higher price because I wanted more reliability and assurance this wasn’t junk. After looking at it, its crap. Compared to the OEM part taken off it is considerably more flimsy and cheaply made.
Of course after receiving it, and preparing to install, I’m left in a bind to send this back and get another one or just install. If I had the time I would have sent it back and paid less for likely the same Chinese/Taiwan junk somewhere else. I chose to install because I need my truck back.
Two months later my front passenger regulator is out. I will NOT be purchasing an ACDelco regulator to repair it considering my experience with this purchase.

2005 Yukon XL passanger rear window. After watching several YouTube videos to understand what was involved I ordered the part. There were two 7mm bolts to remove the door panel. One under the armrest and another on the bottom left corner. I used a screwdriver to pry out the door lock plate (don’t forget to remove the door lock plate as it will break if you leave it in), the cover over the latch, and the window switch. Then the door panel lifts straight up. There were no clips to pry out. There are two plastic guides toward the bottom of the panel that slide the panel into place. Remember to lift up…. not to pull out. I then lifted the window into the closed position and had my son put about five pieces of blue painters tape around the top of the door and down the window. This held it in place. Very important to use plenty of tape. Don’t want the window to fall down into the door. The tape should hold it just fine. Next I pealed back the moisture liner from the four corners to access the bolts for the arms and the motor. No need ro remove the whole thing. Next I loosened the two 7mm nuts holding the window into the arms freeing the window from the arms. I unplugged the motor and removed the one 8mm bolt holding it in place. I removed the other four 8mm bolts from the arms and worked the whole thing out of the large hole. Make sure you take a good look at how it comes out as the new one will go in the same way. Bolt the new arms and motor in place, plug in the motor and CAREFULLY remove the tape from the window and lower it into the clips on the new arms. Tighten slowly. Replace the door panel and you’re done.

Bolted right in to my 2001 Yukon XL passenger rear door. Easy enough of an install, much simpler than other vehicle window regulator designs for sure. Didn’t look exactly like the one that came out, which always makes you wonder if you’re getting legit ACDelco, but it had the ACDelco hologram on the box. Operation is as smooth, fast, and quiet as the other windows.

Unit dropped in and installed easier than most Youtube videos showed. The motor and especially the connector looked somewhat different than the factory original, but connector still fit. Connector was on a pigtail not on the motor itself. Unit functioned OK. Jury still out on longevity – only been in for a month and little used so far.

this is not a original gm, the plastic clips are thinner and not makes as well you can definitely tell it’s alot cheaper made and made in twain just beware you might as well buy a cheaper one for the price or find a genuine ac delco that will last anthor 20 years this one definitely won’t last have the life of oem
