Sturdy on all 4 sides (where original [GM: 13508023] was soft on two sides).
It is a tighter fit (which could be why it wasn’t fitted on Production Line).
As you insert it trick is getting it started, between the side walls (tight fit) and continue to guide it up as you push it in and make sure it seats all the way against the back wall.
Much better build quality than original [GM: 13508023].
However it is Made in China : /

The ACDelco Gold CF1184C Cabin Air Filter does its job well enough. It was easy to install and fit perfectly in my car. The air quality inside the cabin has improved, though it’s not quite as effective as some other filters I’ve used. Still, for the price and convenience, it’s a solid choice.

Although a different number than my manual suggested, this was cross referenced on the AC Delco website to show as fitting the 2022 GMC Canyon. Indeed it is a perfect fit, although the one coming out was made in Germany and this one going in is a product of China. This genuine AC Delco cabin air filter is the Gold Level of their filters, meaning just under OEM GM quality. Filter removed (shown) was only after 20,000km, so would recommend changing every two years or so especially with wildfire smoke on the air constantly. Half the price of GM so would recommend to all.

If you go in for any sort of service to your car or truck, save your money and buy your cabin filters to replace them yourself. There are lots of how to videos out there that show you exactly what to do. I saved $60 by purchasing this cabin filter and replacing it myself. Takes about 10 minutes to do in my 2021 GMC Sierra truck. Dealership wanted $90.00 to do it. (parts and labor)

This is a good fit for the Buick Encore GX 2024 1.2L and looks even better than the original installed in the factory

I just replaced my cabin filter with this AC Delco filter that came in my 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe, excellent quality. Highly recommend and super easy to install thanks to YouTube. Highly recommend!
