This alternator is about smaller than the alternator on the Maxima.

I purchased this in October of 2022. I installed it within two days of receiving it. The alternator has stopped working in August of 2023. I am disappointed by the quality of this alternator.

As my headline reads, the alternator failed at 18 months. Caveat: AC Delco customer service is good. See my update to this review below. I may or may not upload the printouts/videos from the testing of the alternator. Also, because the alternator was defective or is simply poor quality, it also affected/ruined my car battery, which happened to to be a pricey Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) battery. If there is any positive aspect to come of my purchase of this product it will be that I receive monetary compensation for the alternator and my car battery.
Update: My AGM car battery was still under warranty at Wal-Mart so they warrantied it out and I received a new one. As for the AC Delco alternator, it does have a twenty-four month warranty and to AC Delco’s credit, they immediately handled the situation by arranging for a new alternator to be sent to me via Amazon since the original was sold by Amazon. I was also told that in the event that Amazon does not have another alternator to send to me that I would receive a refund, which I had the option to receive the refund back to the original payment method or to an Amazon gift card. If your payment information is different that what it was at the time of purchase, then that should be handled between you and Amazon – not AC Delco customer service. I will say that the AC Delco customer service representative was very pleasant and helpful. I did have to give the rep the name of the Amazon account from which the original part was ordered as well as some other basic information such as the AC Delco item -or- part number, the Amazon order number, the order date, I think a phone number and or email address of the Amazon account. The customer service representative also gave me a case number which I was told I could call the AC Delco customer service number and get updates/help with my warranty transaction. In the end, my experience with AC Delco’s customer service was very satisfactory.
