Installed this in our 2006 Chevrolet Silverado V8 4.8 L engine. Took me 20-30 minutes. It seems to be charging the battery just fine and I thought the price was pretty good for ACDelco which is supposed to be OEM. If it dies, I will come back in here and change the rating. But yeah, so far so good.

Purchased for a gen 2 Yukon. Just be sure you have a two pin pigtail connection on your existing alternator. I would suggest tapping back those copper sliding washers on the mounting bracket to make sure the alternator slides right in. Great, quiet performance and solid build quality. An easy replacement for any experience level as long as you have or can borrow some basic tools. Great opportunity to cut back on costs if you are willing to DIY.

I’ve only had the alternator forxa week but it seems to be nice. I have 2 batteries with an isolated and this thing puts out a nice amount of juice. If you are running Hi amperage items such as amps, inverters, etc like me this is the answer to good continuous power.
