We ordered the product and it was given to us in a greased smudged dirty package that was falling apart, the product worked great for about a month before the bearings began to squeak inside the alternator, and by that time Amazon claimed it was outside the return window, I don’t recommend buying this product, you’re better off going somewhere you can hold the manufacturer responsible.

So my truck battery died the other day and was told by the AAA technician that the alternator was weak and should be replaced and played a part in slowly killing the battery. This was more than likely true since the vehicle is a 2004 and has never had any engine work done to it other than a tuneup. I found this alternator and purchased it the same day I replaced the dead battery and had it installed five days later. Ever since then I can tell that the engine starts up, idles and accelerates way smoother than before. My only issue which really isn’t an issue, but thought it was worth mentioning here is that I didn’t receive the exact alternator that is pictured in the description. The pulley part was not brass colored, but instead a powder coated black one. I’ve included pics of the alternator before and after installation. I highly recommend this part!

Alternator works fine— Before i purchased it i asked if it was a 6 or 8 groove pulley John L got back to me and said it was a 6 — when i received it it was a 8 groove pulley — they should send me a new 6 groove pulley for my application — i had to purchase one

The media could not be loaded.
Have bought a couple of these on the past with no problems. This one I was rotating it before installing on the truck and it would only turn about 1/4 before getting stuck. Looks like either the shaft is bent or the pulley was mounted incorrectly.

Fit the 8 groove pulley perfect! Easy install and strong. Fixed my issue.

I liked the quality of the product, I also liked the pulley it was larger than normal and that was to make sure belt fit, fast delivery was awesome.
The only thing I did not like was the package had low packing and box had a hole causing the fins on one side of alternator to be bent, it was just cosmetic. it didn’t affect it.
