Just got this today and replaced my old cap which had been popping off in cold weather and I could also just feel that it wasn’t getting a proper seal when tightening it back on.
This new cap fit my 2000 Buick Park Avenue perfectly and has a great feeling seal. I’m hoping my old cap was causing some issues I’ve been having. I know the old cap had to have been affecting my EVAP system. Not sure if this will cure anything, but my old cap needed replacing either way and this one is a perfect replacement.
I always buy A/C Delco for GM automobiles and was glad to find this type here in stock at half the price of an auto parts store.

But the car was not designed for the 2 hand power needed to get it on and off easily. BTW, it did take care of the large evap. leak code.

The installation was easy and fixed the code issues on the old reliable Buick LeSabre. Also nice to have the cap tether working again so it hangs in place on the fuel door rather than needing to be set aside during fueling.
