Perfect fit and my engine runs smooth again. I changed it while we did a transmission service so it was just a 5 minute deal. I would hate to do this job with the transmission in place if it would be even possible.

It did not fit you claimed it fit a 2016 spark Chevrolet and it does not fit it is way too big

Put on 2002 suburban with 8.1 Ltr engine – worked exactly as it should – hard to install given position of the sensor, I highly recommend watching the youtube video before you start… will help reduce the touretts outburst

It was the right replacement for my 2001 GMC 8.1 motor . But to remove the old one be ready for a challenge I had to remove the driver side head to win this battle

At around 70k miles, my 2002 Vortec 8.1L 496 started to stall while driving down the road. Some research led me to many forums where folks attributed the issue to a faulty Crank Position Sensor that GM designed and put in the engines.
I ended up having the dealer replace this part since I couldn’t access it (hands too big). The original sensor came out in several pieces, definitely showing that it was failing. This was a revised replacement with only one o-ring, therefore allowing for easier removal if need-be in the future.
After installing the new sensor and re-learning the computer, this fixed my stalling issue. The truck seems to run much better at idle and it has been several months since it has shut off while driving down the road. I am now fairly confident that this fixed my issue!
I’ll update my review should I have any further issues; however, if you’re 8.1 is stalling out while driving, I recommend giving this a try!

Good high quality replacement part. Be warned! It’s a pain in the a$$ to install, but by doing it myself I saved a bunch of money. Good luck!
