ACDelco are a better replacement starter than many cheaper brands because they are built solid and sealed up the way a starter should be. Many aftermarket starters fail within a year due to sloppy brush seats and the number one problem…..water penetration. Maybe someone should let the manufactures of the cheepies that water and electricity don’t play well together.

This is a name brand, OEM,high quality starter!!!! Fit my 2001 Pontiac Aztek perfectly! My old starter died and it was always a bit weak. I called every parts store and this same exact starter is $300+. I went on Amazon.com and I am glad I did. This starter will turn my car over so fast that it will start as soon as I tap the key. What a great starter from a great seller!! You cannot buy a better starter. The junk Chinese/remanned starters will cost you about $150 at a parts store. There is no better place to buy a starter than from Amazon.com! Been a few months and the car still starts instantaneously! Glad I purchased it!

After looking through page after page of starters I decided to go with this one and am very glad I did. It was much cheaper than anything local and with a lifetime warranty. I was able to remove my old and install this starter with no issues and it fit perfectly. Fastest my van has started up in a long time.

Local repair shop quoted $600 to replace starter in 2003 Buick Century. Old starter came out in 30 minutes, new starter went in just as fast. Two big bolts holding it in, two nuts to attach the battery and ignition switch wires and one hour of work that anyone with a ratchet wrench can do. I’d give it five stars but it’s only a mass produced starter, not a brilliant innovative design or a work of craftsmanship.
